It's not you, It's me
So why am I writing about this, well, to hopefully make you laugh. A while back I wrote a blog entitled, Who Am I, comparing myself to a few of the Seinfeld characters. The following video defines who I was the other night. Although I didn't pull it off like George, I definitely thought about this episode the next day and how it made me laugh.
Although I am still somewhat sad, I met up with her tonight to get back some things that I had left over the course of our time together. It did not go as I planned. It was a strangely awkward , mostly because I only had 5 minutes so we had the type of conversation that two people have when they aren't really close friends and have a limited of time to speak, so they try to cram in the gist of a lot of stuff in a short period of time. The following questions are what I'm referring to:
How is work going?
Hows the new project?
Are you liking your job?
Are you still feeling sick?
I felt like I was on a tv show. I felt like i didn't know her when just over a week ago, i felt like i knew her so well.... well.... that is.... until she broke it off. Anyhow, she is a very nice girl and I definitely wish her the best. My only conundrum now, is that when she said, I want to have you as a friend, did she really mean it. Should I check up on her every so often? Or just wait until I run into her at the bar, see her with a guy, and then who knows how i react (I've been know to get drunk following these encounters).
Although I'm single now, I think I might have found my new girlfriend. Thank goodness I have some friends who are sending me all my possibilities so that I do not miss any of the awesome girls that are available:
This is me breathing.

what it is
So it’s been a while. Yes I know. That’s just how I roll.
Past few weeks have gone pretty well. Went to “
Saturday I finally got around to doing some things I’ve been meaning to do around my place. I fixed the garbage disposal, mopped the floors, dusted, and did my taxes (I love getting money back). Went out a few nights… didn’t get too crazy, but still had fun.
Yesterday was a pretty long day. Got to work about 7:30 am… left around 10:15 PM. We go live this Thursday, so things are a little crazy. After work, made a pit stop at the Loon to see some friends who were in town from

Somewhat Success
1. Clean Room - 75% cleaner
2. Clean Bathroom - 50% cleaner
3. Laundry - 100%
4. Mop Floors - 5% -- I thought about it
5. Vacuum - 0% -- I didn't think about it at all
6. Throw Some D's - 100%
Overall, I completed more than half. Pretty decent I guess you can say.
This weekend I leave for Chicago to help coach a kids hockey tournament. The high on Friday is in the single digits... so it will be just like my good ole days in Minneapolis. Should be fun driving in a city I've never been, and hopefully I'll have some time to see some sites (Other than the inside of the bar with parents).
The past week or so I've also been hanging out with a new girl. She's kept my interest thus far and is actually really nice and fun. Shocking that she still talks to me, considering I forgot her name minutes within meeting her, but then again, I was drunk, but so was she. So it all works out. We'll see how it all un

Welcome to 2008
Last night was definitely a party. Unfortunately I don't remember a lot of the night. But I think the 3 second video of my roommate summarizes things up the best (I was the video taker... as you can see, my hands were not steady as I went):
Some highlights of the night include but are limited by my memory:
1. My first McDonalds Hamburger ever, i ate two. They were t-t-t-t-t-tastay tastay
2. Drinking three beers and a Jameson-Coke prior to going to the all you can drink for one low price party
3. Watching several white boys do dance offs
4. Roomie vomiting on one of the bartenders.
5. Charlie the cab driver who started the night off for us with some rock and roll. Love it.
6. Heart to heart with my roommate where I apparently cried a little
(Apparently someone who is wearing a bracelet, a female of course, thought it would be funny to flick us off while taking the picture... .thanks)7. Me being MacGyver and trying to pick the lock on JR's door. Eventually climbing up to a strangers balcony, and then getting a post from DF to up to the third story balcony, only to find out the balcony door was locked.
8. Walking 2 miles to get home from JR's place at 4:00 AM... pricelessI think all in all it was a fun night, and a decent way to start out 2008. This is me breathing.

you want it
Started off at Quarter. Only had 2 beers and 1 shot in a span of 2.5 hours. Which is really good for me. Following that, we decided to go to the good ole grapevine so that DH could get his first experience. After talking to several interesting folks there, including a girl who kept telling us that we all need to get colonoscopyies and that we should get them done by her. It was very interesting. She told us all about the nasty crap she sees. After that disturbing conversation, we ran into the man of the Grapevine himself... BP. Of course he was doing champagne by the bottle. Somehow i ended up buying a bottle, and when i got my tab, the memories came back that they aren't cheap. Oh well. Guess I'm eating in all this week. After that, we ended up in the gay part of town somehow at a chinese restaraunt. The food was actually pretty good (not sure if it was the champagne or what). After that was over, we decided to go home. The two guys were convinced that it was smarter to take AJ home. To me, this made no sense. So i got out of the car and walked about 2 miles to get my car and then went home. No way I'm going to leave sludge alone all night.
Somehow i got one girls number. Now i have to decide if i should call her. I'll think about it.
