The weekend was of course... a little crazy. But that is to be expected if you ask me at this point. Friday we had our semi annual meeting for work at Six Flags over Texas... I didn't ride any of the rides apparently because I'm a girl. I don't know why, I just wasn't feeling it. Maybe it's because last year I remember the pain the Texas Giant inflicted upon me, or maybe it was the boozing up that i did the night before until 2 am. I don't know exactly which, but i can guess it was the later.Anyways, after Six Flags we go to our mecca... aka the stoneleigh P. Have a few drinks there, then decided it would be fun to watch the Mavs game at the corner bar. Sounds like a good idea... couple of bottles of boones farm and tons of shots later... it's all the sudden 2 am. AP anyone? Your damn right there was an AP and it was at my place. Until 6 am. I mostly remember drinking lots of beer, a bottle of wine, trying to climb on top of my roof and almost falling and killing myself, attempting to name the capital of every state (Dover is the capital of Delaware btw), bringing the red chair out on the balcony, and smoking a few cancer sticks. All in all, it was one hell of a marathon but a lot of fun.
Saturday... the day was pretty much shot since by the time i woke and ran to my car... it was already time to go to the Jimmy Buffet concert. This is one thing I think I'm going to have to recommend that everyone go to at some point in their life. And you need to go soon, because Jimmy is getting pretty damn old. We got to the concert grounds around 430. Tons of RVs set up and tons of people drinking already. There were Jimmy Buffet cover bands and tons of old men and women. I've never seen so many 50 + year old people dancing or so many old men with their shirts off who really should have just kept them on... and i digress. Lots of beer flowed and then when we actually made it inside to watch the concert around 730ish... lines for beer and margaritas were out of control. That's just the way it is sometimes. The crowd was crazy and everyone was having a good time. Well, almost everyone. One lady did get mad at me and told me to "Suck on her Shutup cicle".... what ever that meant, i don't really know. But she didn't seem to happy with me. Considering i don't think i ever really said anything to her... but that's life sometimes.
After the concert i had a drink with a good friend. It was very nice and yeah.
Sunday... i mopped, vacuumed, did some laundry, slept a little, and made things nice. It was good.
7 days ... starts now. Ready go.
