you want it
So last night was a little crazier then i somehow wanted it to be. I was very good for 90% of the night. Until we ran into my old friend BP. The crew consisted of myself and three hockey guys. DH, the responsible married man of the group. AJ, the guy from Sweden who dresses it and picks up girls like it is his job, and PB, the jersey kid who ended up leaving early.
Started off at Quarter. Only had 2 beers and 1 shot in a span of 2.5 hours. Which is really good for me. Following that, we decided to go to the good ole grapevine so that DH could get his first experience. After talking to several interesting folks there, including a girl who kept telling us that we all need to get colonoscopyies and that we should get them done by her. It was very interesting. She told us all about the nasty crap she sees. After that disturbing conversation, we ran into the man of the Grapevine himself... BP. Of course he was doing champagne by the bottle. Somehow i ended up buying a bottle, and when i got my tab, the memories came back that they aren't cheap. Oh well. Guess I'm eating in all this week. After that, we ended up in the gay part of town somehow at a chinese restaraunt. The food was actually pretty good (not sure if it was the champagne or what). After that was over, we decided to go home. The two guys were convinced that it was smarter to take AJ home. To me, this made no sense. So i got out of the car and walked about 2 miles to get my car and then went home. No way I'm going to leave sludge alone all night.
Somehow i got one girls number. Now i have to decide if i should call her. I'll think about it.

Girls...
confuse the shit out of me.
Anyway. Enough about that. It's Friday now, and Christmas is almost here. As a child, I'm almost certain Christmas was my favorite time of the year. I remember waking up as early as i could and spending the next half hour to an hour waking up my sisters. They seemed to think that waking up at 6 am was way too damn early, and my parents wouldn't let us open presents until everyone was awake. Eventually i grew up a little and started sleeping in.

the weekend
It was a great weekend. Here are some of the highlights:
1. Friday we went out and partied it up pretty hard. Making appearances at Loon, Quarter, Tribeca, and closing the night around 130 at Grapevine.
2. Got kicked out of grapevine about 2 minutes after walking in. Druseph two fingered a stranger, stranger didn't like, some words were exchanged, hockey phil separated the two, then stranger spit at druseph, bartender calls us out and kicks us out. "But he spat on me" were drusephs lasts word.
3. Saturday afternoon was spent relaxing and recovering with some chill beers at the gman
4. Saturday night involved coaching kids to victory (boring game) and then to Quarter bar where i laid very low. Had two beers, then went and met with a friend at VBB. Then back to quarter around 145 to watch all the drunkards. Its always nice being on the other side sometimes.
5. Sunday morning was all about spring cleaning in winter. I threw out a ton of old stuff that I have no use for anymore, thus trying to eliminate my bad habit of holding on to things forever. It was fun looking through old stuff. Did some laundry. Ate some Bakers Brothers. Read my new book called Microtrends which is interesting thus far. Slept. About to go eat and then play hockey later tonight.
If only every weekend could be this productive. One more week of work, then it's a little vacay in my home town of Houston Texas. I'm ready for it.

Someone needs to call HR
I just received an email in my client email from a client regarding their methods for celebrating the holiday season.
Subject: Christmas Luncheon - More Info...

Here is an excerpt from the email:

Subject: Christmas Luncheon - More Info...
To: ALL
Here is an excerpt from the email:
"GIFT EXCHANGE:
Around 12:00 we will begin the Chinese Gift Exchange. If you choose to participate in the gift exchange, bring a wrapped gift ranging $10-$20. There will be a table in the middle of the room for the gifts. "
....So here are my problems with the email above:
1. "Christmas Luncheon" - There have to be people here that do not celebrate. I believe the PC term is "Holiday Luncheon"
2. Chinese Gift Exchange - I know i'm not chinese, but if i were, I might be a little offended when i learned how this "exchange" is actually played.
Just my thoughts... but someone might want to forward this to HR.

Runnin The Rock
Running the White Rock Relay for the 3rd year in a row was a blast. It was the 4th year for the team, i missed year 1 due to hangover. We did the usual team meeting at 2 am at the Gingerman. I believe I might have been incredibly intoxicated. I remember drinking beer out of the plastic butt that was part of our costume and water falling beer. The night ended quickly and I somehow ended up passed out on someones couch.
Waking up on Sunday morning at 645 am was no easy task. We went and picked up the rest of the runners and made it to the starting line... beers in hand.
Race was off, and we drove to mile two and waited for the next runner. There we met a dog, that really liked us.
We also made friends with the cop who let us drive the wrong way down a few streets to make our exit easier.
Did the next few check points and then it was my turn to run. I wasn't feeling it. I'll tell you that much. About a mile in, knee was hurting and i resorted to a gimpy run most of the rest of the way. Started off my leg chugging a beer and along the way I ate a cookie, donut, mocha goop energy packet, cup of water, three shots of beer, half a beer in the middle, and a beer at the end. I was dead and ready for it to be over. Picture below is me on my run with a teammate kicking me in the butt:
We wrapped up with a picture in front of the marathon sponsor... michelob ultra. Good times:
Next years costumes will be better, wait for it.
Next drinking event for me, New Years Eve. Until then, i'm done.

The Weekend
Is almost here.
Tonight I will be attending my company holiday party. Should be a good time as always and after that I'm going to try and make it to a friend's tacky sweater christmas party.
Tomorrow, test drive jeeps, coach a game, and then go out to eat with the team.
Sunday, White Rock Marathon Relay in the morning (pictures will be coming soon) and a hockey game that night.
Ready... Go.

yup...
So it was an interesting weekend I guess you can say. And no, there was zero crazy drinking stories for once, I had to be responsible I guess and I was able to. Friday night started with some awesome pizza with my work "Buddy" at Louies. He didn't feel like going out, and neither did I. So I went home and was in bed by 1130. It was actually kind of nice. I liked it.
Saturday morning I woke up and drove to Austin to help coach a few hockey games for the kids team. The first game was rough since we were playing a team much bigger, but we are defintiely more skilled. We lost 5-1. It was tough and the kids took it hard. Saturday night i visited with mark and charla. We went to the tavern, split a pitcher of beer, then watched the new guy at his place. Around midnight we decided to go out to meet up with my bestest girl adrianne. I still didn't really feel like drinking, so just had a beer to kind of fit in. We went to an interesting place.
This morning we had two games, won the first one 5-0 and the second one -2-1 in a shoot out. Things were great.
As I drove home today I thought about a lot of things. How i've kind of lost touch with people that i haven't talked to in a while that i used to be really close with. I'm not sure if that is bad or not, but every time i start to try and contact them i decide that maybe it isn't the best idea. I guess I just couldn't understand what good would come of it. After tonight, somehow I understand.
In other good news, had a game tonight and won 7-5. Somehow I pulled off two goals. It's now a little after midnight, i should be doing some work stuff i need to take care of. But i really just want to sleep right now. Maybe it will snow a lot tonight and I can sleep all day tomorrow.

Lars and the Real Girl
I went to see a movie a few days ago with my parents, that movie was called Lars and the Real Girl. In the past few years, I've tended to like independent films a lot more. I was able to drag my mom, and even my dad to this movie.
The movie is basically about a single man probably around 30 that is very socially awkward. Doesn't get out much, just stays in all the time. He ends up becoming somewhat delusional and orders a life size sex doll from the internet. People in the small town begin to accept the girl so that Lars can feel normal.
Overall, the movie was pretty funny, cute, and worth seeing. Here is the trailer if you are interested in seeing:

Recent Acquisition
It's really started to happen... getting old. I bought an antique yesterday. Now, it is an "antique that has a very useful purpose, that is, organizing my room. And my room really needs it. This has been my excuse for why my room cannot stay clean while I've been at my place for the past 1.5 years. Anyway, here are some pictures of the small dresser I purchased yesterday:

Overall I think it was decent purchase and will help get things going. Now I just have to figure out how to get it to Dallas.

Job Security
Currently I am working on a high profile energy client that is making its way to becoming one of the premium energy providers. They are acquiring generation, smart people, well renowned traders, and other revenue generating assets. Traders work like crazy and are often somewhat different thinking than your average person. Always figuring out how they can beat the market (which is very doable for these people). So while these people are working hard, their is one guy in the cube next to me, who fails to work hard. We will call him Stan.
Stan is a divorced man with two kids. I know this, because he had a conversation one day with the child support agency in which he screamed into the phone, "I'm not a DEAD BEAT DAD, I've been paying the child support, it's your systems that are messed up." He had this conversation at 2 PM, I'm certain that everyone in a 45 food radius heard this, including his boss.
Apparently he owns a very large house, of which him and his "new wife" live in. His coworkers definitely called him out on that asking why he needs a huge house. He had no answer.
Yesterday, around 5:30 PM, by which time 90% of the office has cleared out, I begin to hear what sounds similar to South Park. I IM my co-worker and ask him to listen, and he confirms it is the night priors episode (Which is highly recommended by me). The sound isn't extremely loud, but h'm 10 feet away from the guys computer and can completely understand what the characters are saying. Not too big of a deal, since it is after hours, but still.
It's 11:15 now, and I just heard him watching South Park... AGAIN! Same volume, no headphones, INSANE. This guy clearly has some job security and doesn't care what people know he is doing.
This guy clearly is not afraid of being fired... and may even be attempting to get laid off, so that he can get severance pay. Job security... awesome.

Texas To Colorado Recap
This past weekend, three friends and I made a road trip to the top of Texas. There, we set out on a mission to run from Texas to Colorado on foot via relay. The following details were provided regarding this race:
"Elevation gain, unknown.
Terrain, who cares.
Race markers, hell no.
Water, bring your own.
Survival, required.
Dallas, Tx 6:30 AM - I pick up the rental car.
Dallas, Tx 6:45 AM - Meet two other team mates at my place. Leave.
Dallas, Tx 7:10 AM - Pick up teammate number 4 at DFW. Get on the road
About three hours later, we decide to stop in a town called Sunset, populate, 400. Here we ate breakfast burritos and when asked what we were in town for, we informed them that we just bought a house down the street. All the old people in the gas station (local hangout) looked confused.

We found a gignormous Texas and had to stop and run on top of it. Awesome.

We also found a ginormous rocking chair. Everything really is bigger in Texas... proof is below.

One of the oldest theatres in Texas, the Ritz.

Leaning water tower of Britten located in Groom Texas. Originally brought to Groom and was supposed to be used as a tourist attraction at a truck stop. The truck stop is no longer there... just overgrown grass.

I attempted to climb up to the top, however, after getting up around 20 feet, my fear of heights kicked in and I stopped.

The team on the tower. Awesome.

Groom, Tx, also the home of the second largest cross in the Western Hemisphere, standing at 190 feet tall. Very odd.

In Amarillo, we almost got ran over by a tank.

Palo Duro Canyon. The second largest canyon in the United States (behind the Grand Canyon)

Palo Duro Canyon. Beautiful.

The Cadillac Graveyard. 10 Cadillacs that have been spray painted burried in the ground surrounded by cows. Odd.

Top of Texas - 6:50 AM Sunday - AKA, the start of the race

The bottom of Oklahoma (AKA, the top of Texas)

My shorts got a little ripped up.

Preparing for my start.

The only town that we ran through on the way to Colorado. Boise City. It was one of the few places on US soil that got bombed. Oddly enough, we did it to ourselves in a practice mission.
Running through Boise City. Motiviation.

Denver, CO. That WAY!

Great Success. Tired.

A large dinosaur in Boise City...

Close up.

Lots of open space in Oklahoma.
Almost to Colorado...
We made it.
Largest cow ever... of course in Texas.

IM Convo
This morning I had the following conversation with a buddy. This is how it went down:
EHMP: i dont know what the hell was wrong with me
EHMP: i was drunk at 5 pm
bellison03: on friday?
bellison03: damn
EHMP: on sunday
EHMP: and
EHMP: decided to go to sears
EHMP: and ended up buying 3 HDTVs
bellison03: what did u buy?
bellison03: wtf
EHMP: i know.
EHMP: dropped 5k
EHMP: but got some good deals
bellison03: haha
EHMP: now i dont know what to do with my extra tvs
Kind of crazy. I typically only get drunk and continue to buy more booze... this guy spends 5k on televisions. Amazing. Someday I hope to be able to do something similar to this. Imagine waking up... and realizing what happened. Maybe I'll buy one off him.

Getting older
I must be getting older. I stopped listening to my normal morning show and have found myself listening to NPR on my way to and from work.
Yesterday they talked about how market participants are purchasing options to buy oil at $250. This meaning that they are foreseeing the price of a barrel to go higher than that at sometime in the future. Hopefully not any time soon.
In other news in Dallas, the proposition to proceed with plans to create a toll road by the Trinity River has passed. I don't agree with this and believe it is a bad idea, but then again, I didn't vote, so I can't complain.

Avenue Q
bad end and bad start
Yesterday I left my cell phone at work. Survived the night with out it just fine surprisingly.
This morning I put my shoes on in the semi-darkness... walked outside after locking the door and noticed different sounds coming from my shoes. One was black and one was brown. I guess it's good i noticed prior to getting to work.
It's only Tuesday. Everyone knows that a good time never happens on a Tuesday night.

drinks
I haven't had a drink since Saturday. Tonight that will change a little bit when I go to Adairs for some burgers and beer. And when I say burgers... i mean the best Hamburger in Dallas.

Minneapolis... what
This past weekend, I took a trip back to my old stomping grounds... Minneapolis. It was an interesting trip to say the least... so here is how it went down.
Friday:
8:00 PM - Wake up on to the plane landing. This used to always freak the hell out of me because I always thought we were crashing. Still the same feeling.
8:10 PM - Board light rail to go to the 38th st station for a party at my old co-workers house
8:35 PM - Arrive at 38th St Station. Call friend to pick me up. Informs me he is busy, so his brother will pick me up
8:40 PM - Infiniti pulls up with Harry Potter driving. He asks if I'm Brian. I ask... are you Harry? Ok, I didn't really ask if he was Harry, but his name is James and he did look like Harry Potter.
8:45 PM - Arrive at party. Two girls are sitting there as I walk in, so I introduce myself.
GIRL # 1 - One of the girls is dressed up as Jordan from the great Gatsby. If I had two nickels when i met her, i might have asked her if I could try to fit them in between her teeth. She works at a liquor store, and apparently likes to drink. We have something in common. Her name is Jordan in my eyes because that is her costume
GIRL #2 - Girl number two is dressed as Rosie... i couldn't tell if she meant Rosie O'Donnell or what, but she looked like a construction worker. This girl is drinking RumRunner, she tells me she plans on drinking the entire bottle. I'm somewhat impressed and believe that she is a lesbian based on a few clues she shows me.
9:00 PM - Girls ask me how old I am. 25. They thought 27. Do i look old these days
9:40 PM - My buddy Joe finally arrives. After 30 minutes of interesting conversations with the punk rocker girls, I am glad to have a breather
9:42 PM - I get my pirate costume on. Brings back memories of the pirate party. I have a fear the rest of the night that my phone will get lost.
9:45 PM - Nickel girl wants jello shots... it's on.
10:30 PM - Rosie seems to be interested in me. I show no interest and begin talking to two new girls. Law school girls. They are my age and cute. Not dressed up at all.
11:00 PM - Law school girls have to go to another party. Bummer.
11:05 PM - Jello shot
11:15 PM - I find myself once again talking to Rosie and Jordan. Not so nice.
11:50 PM - I begin my exit strategy.
12:01 AM - Most people have left. We are watching odd YouTube videos on a Wii
12:05 AM - I change out of pirate costume. In an attempt to escape. I inform people I'm leaving and that I will walk to the train station. Joe insists not to worry and that I will find a ride.
12:45 AM - Still watching YouTube Videos
1:00 AM - Still watching YouTube
1:02 AM - Rosie and Jordan are leaving. I ask for a ride to the train station. They insist they will give me a ride to downtown. I argue... they think I'm mean.... i break down and agree to a ride to my hotel.
1:05 AM - I don't know Minnesota well, but I realize we are not going the right way. Jordan says that Rosie is taking me home. Great. I'll have to ride back with the construction worker by myself. Not looking forward to this
1:30 AM - Drop other girl off. She lives literally 100 feet from the liquor store she works at. A:
1:31 AM - 2:00 AM - Odd car ride with Rosie. Conversation is lame. She doesn't understand why I don't have a girlfriend. I understand completely why she doesn't have a boyfriend, but fail to say it. Get to my hotel. I thank her. Get out of the car. Home free.
2:15 AM - Blind Date is on. I get wrapped up in an episode. I hate TV.
Saturday:
9:00 AM - Wake up and get Executive Hilton Breakfast
9:30 AM - Back to bed
11:00 AM - Wake up. S.S.S.
11:30 AM - Begin shopping at BR and Gap. Purchase pants, two shirts, and three pairs of socks. I shop when I'm alone like that and always find stuff.
1:00 PM - Chipotle for lunch
1:15 PM - Meet up with roomie at Macy's
2:00 PM - Leave roomie. Stop by Haskells and pick up a 6-packs of Red Hook and Sierra Nevada
2:15 PM - Picked up by old co-worker to go to a get together with people i used to work with
2:30 - 6:00 PM - Converse and speak of the good ole days with old co-workers. Watch dogs run around the yard. Drink two red hooks and one Sierra Nevada. Eat one hamburger and two brats. By the end, I am in a food coma.
6:30 PM - Arrive at Gopher Hockey game
9:00 PM - Gophers win.
9:10 PM - Talk to roomie. He is in St. Paul. I decide to make the trek out there and jump on the light rail
9:25 PM - Get off at 46th St Station
9:26 PM - Roomie not there. It's cold. I decide to wait under the heat lamp at the station. Some little person is singing and is really annoying. I block him out and notice there is a Walgreens, cool.
9:35 PM - Roomie arrives. We go to his friends house.
9:40 PM - Beer #1, it tastes so good (NewCastle)
9:45 - Begin playing Apples to Apples. The douche bag next to me is somehow winning. He has a tattoo that says Got Jesus with a Jesus Fish underneath it and they were not apart of his Halloween costume.
10:00 PM - I am told i have to try a beer called Premium, the local beer. Everyone says it is great. I take one sip and almost vomit. It is gross. I still drink it.
11:00 PM - One more beer down, and it is time to walk to the bar
11:15 PM - Get to bar. Jager Bombs for everyone and a 24 oz beer.
12:30 PM - I begin feeling very hot and feel my alcoholic allergic reaction coming on. For once, I listen to it and stop drinking.
12:40 PM - Begin exit strategy planning. Train stops at 2am. No one will be able to take me to my hotel tonight since everyone is drunk. So I can sleep on the floor at roomie's friends, or figure out a way to my hotel.
12:41 PM - Ask bartender to call a cab. He calls two cab services... Both are too busy and will be at least an hour. I fear this is not enough time for me to make it.
1:00 AM - Still trying to figure out how to get to the station
1:15 AM - Say bye to everyone. Tell them a cab is waiting for me outside. They trust me... what fools...jk
1:16 AM - On the way out, i ask the door dude which way the train station is. He tells me far. Someone over hears and tells me it is straight down the street across two bridges. He says its about 1.5 - 2 miles. I can do it. The cute waitress girl at the door tells me I'll never make it and that it is in another city. I ignore her and walk out the door.
1:17 AM - I begin running in my sport coat, jeans, and going out shoes (not comfortable)
1:27 AM - I reach the first bridge. It crosses the Mississippi River. This is a good sign. I get half way across the bridge and look out on the river... I stop. I start thinking. Then realize I need to keep running.
1:29 - Burp. It tastes like jager. Gross.
1:35 AM - I see Walgreen's. I'm going to make it.
1:40 AM - Buy my train ticket. Success.
1:42 AM - Crazy Homeless lady begins talking to me. She wants to swap train tickets with me so she can ride buses all night. She tells me how the government sucks and how they effed her over. She shows me her beat up leg and it might have been the grossest thing ever. She continues talking about stuff and eventually i tell her i'm from dallas and blah blah blah. She asks if she can come live on my front lawn. I'm like... whatever. She then asks for an email address... i give her a fake. She writes hers down in pink highlighter on an old bus ticket she had (she had about 30 of them). (PS - I just noticed that the ticket was issued on September 1, 2007. If this is the case, I feel like she might keep every train pass she has ever "purchased")
I see the train a coming. she tells me to wait while she grabs her stuff. I start walking to the next car. I lose her. Success.
2:15 AM - Arrive in downtown. Get off at Nicolett Mall station. I see the crazy lady and duck out in the ally.
2:30 AM - Arrive at hotel. Turn on tv. Begin watching some stupid show that I can't even remember.
2:32 - Pass out.

6 in tha moanin
It's 9:30 am... and it already feels like it has been a long day. I woke up this morning and ran a little over 6 miles. It actually felt really good once again. Got home... iced my knees. Took a shower... got ready for work.
Stopped off at a Swiss Pastry Shop on the way in to Fort Worth, picked up a ham&cheese croissant and a dozen chocolate chip cookies. Anyone want to guess how long they will last... I say by lunch they will all be in my belly.
I leave for Minneapolis tonight. Should be a fun little side trip.
This is me breathing.

Ketchup
Last night, I caught up on some of my shows. Cooked an Amy's vegetable lasagna (Which taste amazing for a frozen dinner) and watched my two favorite shows, South Park and Mad Men. Woke up this morning for my weekly Saturday morning run (started last week). Did about 6 miles which felt pretty rough on the legs. Just got done icing them down and taking a shower.
Today entails... test driving minis with my friend who really wants for me to get a mini. Followed by a youth hockey game for some coaching. Immediately followed by a wine tasting event hosted by my buddy Brien. Followed by the stars game. Followed by a birthday celebration at Quarter Bar. Probably in bed by midnight, then up for a 7 am game to coach tomorrow morning.

Last night, I had a dream.
6:00 - Leave work trying to make it home by 7 for the Penguin Store party
7:00 - Make it home. RIght on time.
7:05 - Roomie not ready... so typical.
7:06 - Bored so I start cleaning. Take a look at the basket full of cloths that has had the exact same cloths in it for over a year now. Think about putting the cloths up.
7:15 - Still thinking about putting them up
7:20 - Decide not to put the cloths up and end up starting some laundry
7:25 - Roomie tells me we aren't leaving until 8
7:25:00:01 - Pissed at roomie.
7:30 - Start cooking my new favorite dinner. Boca Burger, Cous Cous, strawberries, and soy milk.
8:00 - Em shows up for Penguin Party
8:20 - Arrive at Penguin Party. There are 5 other people in the store. Three of them work there.
8:21 - I realize there is free Heineken. I begin to indulge.
8:22 - I try on a shirt and some pants. I am done shopping.
8:45 - Beer #2
9:00 - Store closes
9:01 - I realize they have free Kits taffy. I continue eating
9:25 - Phil and Em finish shopping
9:26 - Call Drew. Decision is made to go to Barley House for one beer
9:27 - Snort a line (Joking)
9:40 - Sierra Nevada
9:47 - Bathroom break. Dirtiest bathrooms ever.
9:50 - Beer # 2 at Barley House. I broke the rule.
10:20 - Dos Equis. Beer # 3
11:05 - Time to go home. No wait. This is when the night just got started. Drew recommends the loon. I go ahead and say. Sounds good for a night cap ("one beer")
11:15 - Arrive at Loon. Order a Coors Light. Very nice
11:30 - Think about how I will blog about this tomorrow (tomorrow being today)
11:31 - Phil and Em finally arrive. I'm done with my beer. Guess I'll make it two
11:45 - Em is done with her beer. WE go to the bar for another drink
11:50 - Order the last round. I close out. Bueno
11:51 - Em convinces me that we need a shot. Royal Fuck is what we did. Tab is open again
11:52 - Take Shot. Close out tab. Need to go home and sleep
12:01 - Decide to write a drunk text message/poem to my buddy who believes I should be a drunk poet. The following text message ensues:
"
Aw man. Ill weoutr a orm for you.
There was this whore,
Who didn't want Moe,
She thinks she is hot,
Like a yatee tot,
Her name is Molly,
Dickin holla holly"
12:15 - Done with my beer. Said something (still don't remember that pissed off Em)
12:30 - We leave the bar. Thank you
12:45 - Arrive at home. Go to get some water with roomie. Ended up grabbing a Redbridge beer (gluten free of course) that is well over 6 months old. It still tasted fine.
1:00 - Bud light time too. Continue talking to roomie about stuff I shouldn't talk to him about.
1:15 - Begin drunk texting.
1:20 - 5 drunk texts later. I feel it might be a good time to use the breathalyzer. I blow a .30 on the breathalyzer. It is wrong
1:25 - I blow a .2
1:35 - Alone in my room. Still sending drunk texts
1:37 - Pass out
7:20 - Wake up. Shit. I'm late.
7:40 - Time to go to work. Breathalyzer first. I blow a .08. I'm legal to drive... barely.
8:01 - Begin receiving texts from people i drunk texted asking if i was drinking last night
8:03 - Decide this weekend will involve no alcohol (i'll update you on Monday)
8:40 - Stop off at Whataburger for a fabulous Taquito
8:41 - Order Taquito - sausage and egg only
8:47 - The following old man with a sweet hat walks in:
Two words. Big balla.
8:59 - Taquito finally arrives
9:08 -I've never been this late to work. Typically it's not really late, because my boss comes in at 9:45. I think I'm golden because I don't see his car.
9:11 - Of course. His car was hidden. He is here due to a 9:30 meeting. The one day I'm late. Of course he is cool about it, but still.
Now - Head still hurting. Everythings gonna be alright, just like bob marley said.
