The QC

Tomorrow I hit the QC (The quarter century mark). In some ways, I'm a little excited, I'll be able to save some more money on car insurance and in some ways be more responsible (Ha, sure... yeah right).

Last night, i blew out candles on a birthday cake for the first time in who knows how long. It all went down at a little work function we had at one of our clients house. She was very nice and had some brownies and put candles in them. I was surprised that they had remembered and therefore I turned very red from what I have been told. I never really have been much of a fan of birthdays ever since I was a kid, to me, it is really just another day. And these days, it's just another day I'll most likely be doing some big time drinking. This birthday will be somewhat different, I've decided to pack up and head home for the weekend and spend it with my parents and sista.

All in all, I'm hoping the weekend will be a somewhat relaxing what, since the past few have been fun and games involving my favorite beverage... beer. Before I do leave for Houston, I'll be having a somewhat small gathering of a few friends at one of my favorite bars, the Stoneleigh P.

Random Thoughts:

- Bags with wheels are like pink pedals on a bike.
- Lately the weather in Big D has been perfect. The past few weekends I've been spending a lot of time during the day at the Gingerman on the patio (see photo above). Always good times.
- Tonight is once again another big game in hockey. We are playing a team that is one point behind us and the playoff race is getting tight now that there are only about 5 games left. I'll be arriving a little late to the game since my flight gets in at 650 and game is at 730... let's just hope the plane is on time.
